About
- Your genome is compared with skani against species-representative MAGs (dereplicated at 95% ANI with dRep). Reference taxonomy is from GTDB-Tk.
- species = ANI ≥ 95% and max(AF query, AF ref) ≥ 50%. Low AF can mean an incomplete or contaminated MAG.
- skani reports ANI only above about 80%. If there are no hits, no reference in the database is from the same genus.
- Uploaded sequences are deleted as soon as the search finishes. Results are kept for 7 days and can be opened by anyone who has the link.
